Towing has participated in every major construction project in Eastern Canada
that requires marine support. This includes, but is not limited to, the
construction of the 12,900 meter long Confederation Bridge connecting New
Brunswick to Prince Edward Island which took years of tug and barge support to
position and fix the precast bridge sections. We have also supported the
Hibernia & Hebron Gravity Base and Topsides construction in Bull Arm
Newfoundland, where a series of tugs and barges were needed for several years
to provide fixed position platforms for offices power generation cranes as well
as transport and resupply of critical materials.
