Port and Marine Construction

Port & Marine Construction

Atlantic Towing has participated in every major construction project in Eastern Canada that requires marine support. This includes, but is not limited to, the construction of the 12,900 meter long Confederation Bridge connecting New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island which took years of tug and barge support to position and fix the precast bridge sections. We have also supported the Hibernia & Hebron Gravity Base and Topsides construction in Bull Arm Newfoundland, where a series of tugs and barges were needed for several years to provide fixed position platforms for offices power generation cranes as well as transport and resupply of critical materials.

With a broad range of barge types and experience in this field Atlantic Towing is able to provide customized marine construction support to any project big or small.
